Brocklesby Public School values parental involvement
One way to become involved in our School is through our active and friendly Parents & Citizen’s Association. Our Parents and Citizen’s Association not only benefits students, but also enriches and contributes to the wellbeing of the whole school community through their positive interactions and support.
The Parents & Citizen’s Association encourages social interaction, improved communication between parents/carers and the school and provides support for school events, such as Easter Hat and Book Week Parades. They also facilitate fundraising and provide some much loved and eagerly anticipated events of the school calendar, such as the Brocklesby Bush Dash
Over the last few years, the Parents and Citizen’s Association have raised money to contribute to, among many things:
- Take home reader books
- Bus Transport costs
- Shade structures and sport facilities
- Landscaped pavers and gardens at the front entrance commemorating 125 years
- Garden landscaping
- Chook Shed
The Parents and Citizen’s Association meet each term. To have a strong and vibrant Parents and Citizen’s Association we need the efforts and talents of many members of our school community and we would welcome your involvement and passion.
